The idea for Overland Equipment started in a moment somewhere outside of Chico, CA, a tucked-away outdoor town in the Sierra foothills, where getting outside is just a way of life. We'd charge out our back door into Bidwell Park onto dusty single track day after day just for the fun of it. Or sometimes even disappear for days at a time and wind up at Bear Hole, where you could watch the summer heat shimmer off the lava rock and toss your friends in for an unscheduled swim. Our wanderlust inspired experiences and stories that unfolded like a book.
For 27 years, Overland Equipment has designed, developed, and manufactured bags with the consistent intent of providing well-organized solutions for active, everyday use. We've updated our brand identity, but our bags are still-- and always will be-- made with the same thoughtfulness, simplicity and natural ruggedness of our Chico roots.

All of our bags are made with the best quality materials. The exterior is constructed with 840D junior ballistic nylon and 1680D ballistic nylon in all the highest wearing areas. The interior has 210D ripstop nylon in contrasting colors to make it easy to find all the things you take with you everyday
